| biography Justin Moses is an accomplished instrumentalist playing mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle, dobro and bass. His instrumental talents are showcased on his new solo album, Dusty Roads where he also debuts on lead vocals on several tracks. He’s been playing music since the age of six and began performing with his family's gospel group in churches soon after learning his first chords on the mandolin. As a teen he entered regional contests, winning several on multiple instruments. Just after graduating high school he helped form the East Tennessee band Blue Moon Rising in 2000. Justin then went on to become a founding member of the band Sierra Hull & Highway 111, performing at several well-known festivals with Sierra in 2005. He peformed with bands Blue Moon Rising and NewFound Road in 2006 and 2007, before being asked to join the Dan Tyminski Band in 2008. |
